The Administrative Setup of the West Garo Hills District has the Deputy Commissioner at the top. The Deputy Commissioner or the DC is the executive head and also the District Magistrate of the district. All other departments of the district report to the office of the DC/DM. The Deputy Commissioner is assisted by a team of Additional Deputy Commissioners, Extra Assistant Commissioners and Block Development Officers at the Block Level.
